People    by Charlotte Zolotow

Some people talk and talk
and never say a thing.
Some people look at you
and birds begin to sing.

Some people laugh and laugh
and yet you want to cry.
Some people touch your hand
and music fills the sky.

Oh wow, it's really beautiful. I wonder where you find such wonderful verses... Was literature your major? Do you write poetry yourself?

Hello Lesya, It's a lovely piece I came upon quite by chance after my middle daughter visited us yesterday, I read alot of poetry I've loved it since I was small.

Yes I do try to write it, I love words and the pictures some authors paint in our minds. I left school at sixteen and went to work so no...alas, although I love literature I only did regular English lessons.

I'm SO glad you enjoyed reading 'People' by Charlotte Zolotow!

Hello my new friend...I so totally loved your comment on my blog about my music. Thank you so much.
I spent a great deal of time choosing the melodies, as I do with everything concerning my blog & my jewelry designs. OK, so you are retired and happily living with your darling kitty...I know about not leaving the house often as I can be quite content at home while designing jewelry, etc. We must be very careful of isolation though. One could become boring or bored. Two things I have pledged never to be. Bored or Boring. xx's
