........Extract from: Peonies
by Mary Oliver.
Do you also hurry, half-dressed and barefoot, into the garden,
and softly,
and exclaiming of their dearness,
fill your arms with the white and pink flowers,
with their honeyed heaviness, their lush trembling,
their eagerness
to be wild and perfect for a moment, before they are
nothing, forever?
I'd just like to tell everyone who wrote to me with such encouragement in the last few weeks whilst I've been feeling particularly rough with M.E. "You are ALL stars, it made such a difference reading your words!
Thank you. Thank you. x"

Hope that this comment finds you a lot better and that someone has bought you a massive bunch of peonies !!! They are one of my favourite flowers.....there are too many beautiful flowers to have just one favourite.
..... and, we must both get those maxi dresses out of the wardrobe and wear them !!
Take care. XXXX

If something "speaks" to you in either place, feel free to print and frame.
What a luscious fuchsia pink! (Yes, I couldn't remember how to spell "fuchsia" and had to look it up. . . .! Dyslexics of the World Untie!)
See, you sent the peonies to me, as it's is too hot in Texas for them (or me). You're sounding lots better, my friend. xx's
