'You want to know what living life to the fullest actually is? It's waking up on a Monday morning with no complaints. It's knowing you always deserve to laugh. It's doing what feels right no matter what. It's doing what you want to no matter how stupid you look. It's about being yourself, because no one can tell you you're doing it wrong.' -Unknown-

Hello Jane:
We can fully appreciate your sentiments here. Whilst living in the fast lane is exciting and fun, it is really those everyday things which are overlooked or taken for granted that really make the difference to whether a life is well lived or not.
So many people are dealing with distress in their lives on a daily basis that one cannot help but jump for joy if, as you write, 'on Monday I wake up with no complaints'.
Hoping that you are happy and well. Take the greatest care!
Dear Jane,
Well, I am and have always tried to do just that and will try to continue to do so !! ..... and, Cirque du Soleil put on the best shows. We first saw them in Las Vegas and try to see everything that they do here, mostly at the Royal Albert Hall. Just back from Rome and had a great time. Much love. XXXX
"'It's about being yourself, because no one can tell you you're doing it wrong.'"
The hardest part is to get people to believe that the above statement is actually true.
One of my favorite statements about identity came from the wonderfully wild and whimsical mind of the great cartoonist, Walt Kelly, author of the classic comic strip, "Pogo." To quote one of his characters, "He's not me, he's him. I'm me."
He's absolutely right, of course.
Sure wish that was an easy formula to follow, don't you?
This is a brilliant quotation.
I don’t know that we ‘deserve’ to laugh, but I certainly love to laugh, and embrace laughter and joy when it comes my way. Waking up on a Monday morning with no complaints… I call that a miracle! On being yourself, that’s the path less traveled, aye?
Hello Jane, The beauty of these words rings bells in me and chime with the profoundest honesty and truth. Thank you so much for sharing this. I've never come across with this quote before. We learn something new everyday. Hope you are having a wonderful weekend (it's been frightfully cold in Scotland!!!)
Also, my sincere thanks to you for your kind and generous comments on my blog. I feel very humbled by it. May I also say that the admiration is reciprocal. I've been reading your previous posts. They're full of arresting phrases and images, and they are full of heart.
Best wishes, ASD
Thank you so much for visiting and all your lovely words they mean so much to me. Not been too good this past week, but I love visiting all your blogs these friendships garnered via the www. I cherish truly.
Hugs Jane
I'd say "no complaints" was akin to a zen-like state of bliss! Hope yo have many more days like it.
Hello dear Jane! I so agree with this quote!
I am so thrilled to get a moment to come and see my dear Jane and read what's in your heart!
I hope all is well with you and that you will have a wonderful weekend.
It snowed today...and so it starts : )
sending love...
I was so happy to get your comment this morning. Reading it was the best part of my day so far Jane!
I do love our horses. They are such beautiful powerful beasts and yet the gentlest hearts. When I was young and living in the city, I dreamed of having a horse of my own. So when my family moved to this little town and I married a man who loved horses too I knew I had made a good choice.
I smiled when I read about your parents holding their breath when you entered the contests!!! I can only imagine : )
Have a good week dearest.
Hugs from me...
