This is just what I've been doing since my last post.... thank goodness, unlike some people who have ME I can still manage to occupy myself with reading. Sorry to be away from here for such an inordinate length of time everyone, I have occasionally been able to at least read some of your lovely posts even if I haven't left a comment for you all. As soon as I feel I might have turned a corner again, as Arnold said in 'Terminator'...
"I'll be back!". In the meantime much love to you all.

Hello Jane:
How pleased we were to see that you popped up in our Google Reader!
At least you have the pleasure of reading to take you through your darkest days and we do so hope that you will turn a corner soon. And, when you do, we shall be here.....round the bend, of course!!!
Take care.
Ah! It really cheers me when I come to my emails and find you there dear Jane and Lance.
It makes my world ten thousand times brighter!
Don't worry about being round that bend.....all the best of us are don't you think?
I'll meet you there!!
Hugs

Oh, precious Jane, it has been a long time. I still have the beautiful note you sent me, I think about it all the time and appreciate so much all your thoughtfulness. I have been feeling so alone, but I'm not sick. I want you to recover as much as possible so you can join the craziness of blogland, it least it's good for a laugh or two sometimes. Sending love...
You just relax and have a good read Jane and take very good care of yourself ...... we're not going anywhere.
Look after yourself and am thinking of you. Much love. XXXX
I'm going to be taking it easy this next week or two. I just went on a house-cleaning bender and, among other changes, set up a reading nook in my office with a recliner, a laptop table for my Kindle and my internet radio. I'm exhausted from all that house cleaning, so I feel I've earned the rest. If you haven't read any Patricia McKillip, you should. Also, there's a book called "Bog Child" by Siobhan Dowd (published posthumously)which is a bittersweet coming of age story. I think you'd like the Glamourist Histories by Mary Robinette Kowal(Shades of Milk and Honey, and Glamour in Glass). You might like Gail Carriger's Parasol Protectorate books -- they're "steampunk" but I think they're charming, funny, and very tongue-in-cheek. You might also enjoy "
Crawling Between Heaven And Earth" a collection of short stories by Sarah A. Hoyt. I found them delightful. And if you want something hilarious and off the wall, Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next books are such a hoot. You also might like Laurie King's Mary Russell novels.
