'We are reaching into the silence.
Are we the music, whilst the music plays?
Between the un-being and the being,
sounds a hollow rumbling of wings...
Am I here, or there, or elsewhere?'

'Keep the circus going inside you, keep it going, don't take anything too seriously, it'll work out.' -David Niven-
I love this quote by David Niven. I adore all his films. He was such an eptiome of genteel English gentleman who was witty, frank and outspoken. I love his other famous quote about "shortcomings".
Hope all is well with you. Your warm, lovely presence on the blog is always much appreciated.
Actually, my inner circus would be more like the Marx Bros than Stan and Ollie, with extra lashings of Harpo. Anyone who can play boogie woogie on a harp is OK in my book. Good to hear from you again.
Oh did this ever make me smile Jane!!! I always have loved David Niven. I really miss those days of great television don't you? Why did we ever replace it with the stuff on there today? It was so good to hear from you today sweetest friend. I often think of you (my faraway friend) and hope that things are okay with you. sending you many hugs for the times I don't come by...
Life is a circus wouldn't you say.., full of high wire acts, moments of skill and ability and yes of course a few clowns. Hope that you are well Jane and enjoying your Summer... Susan x
