Hello Jane:
And, we hope that sunbeams are shining through the dark crevices for you as we write!

The shrub looks like Lonicers Nitida to us and we think it to be a most wonderful, fresh green foliaged plant that so obligingly grows almost anywhere and can be clipped to order.

Fingers crossed....Jane and Lance! Thank you SO much for your lovely message,I hope both of you are doing well too. I inherited the Lonicers Nitida and although I LOVE gardens!! I cannot pretend to know the name of the green-green bush, but I thank you for telling me that it can be clipped to keep it in order, as I was in a quandary as to how to deal with the overgrowth! That little furry face peeping into the photo is my Tchi-tchi.

Hugs to you both
Jane

What a wonderful post Jane....words and photograph so beautifully matched !
I hope that the weather isn't too depressing for you and that you are feeling well. We had some lovely weather today and walked along the river with our daughter-in-law and grandson. It was good to see the sun shine.
Keep well Jane. Much love. XXXX

Blessed are the flexible
For they shall not be bent out of shape.

If your bread machine is anything like mine, all you have to do is assemble and measure out the ingredients into the machine in the order they appear in the recipe, close the lid and punch some buttons. All you have to clean up after is your measuring cups and spoons, and the bread pan. Depending on the kind of bread you want to make, you may have to assemble some "out of common" ingredients like "vital wheat gluten," "unsalted butter" and "wheat bran." But other than that, the rest of the ingredients can be bought at any supermarket. I prefer unbleached flour. I was able to get all the ingredients except the wheat bran at Wal-Mart which is a large chain store. I ordered the wheat bran from Amazon.com. If you can enlist a confederate, you can read off the recipe to them and have them measure out the ingredients. The only really tricky bit is measuring the ingredients accurately.

Great advice thank you WOL, sometimes I've not even felt well enough to do those simple tasks...however fingers crossed that I've turned a corner...again! ;)))

Hugs Jane

Yes to cracks and sunlight and growing things!

I very painstakingly planted some pretty greenery in the cracks on my patio a few years ago. Then we hired someone to mow our lawn while we were on vacation and he just as carefully cut them all out. Such is life!
